READING STRATEGY (PART 2)

This session, I was assigned a class with the main goal of improving their reading and spelling of words.

I had to do the research and bring in my A game.

I got these letters from a supermarket and my students love spelling with them.

We have a word list in class which they read every morning. So during their playtime, they move to their reading area and try spelling those words using the letters.

If there’s one thing I’ve realized, it is the level at which children retain information when they find the learning process exciting.

Since last week, I’ve been impressed at the progress my new babies are making and Ms. Dairo is super proud of them.

Next week, we would progress to using a scrabble board with our letters. Let’s add some spice to our learning.

This is one of the many strategies I resumed the session with.

Don’t worry, I’ll share all here and the progress we’re making.

P.S I had to look for a cartoon to make a reading area for my students. We would be redecorating it during our CCA class.
